BOOMERANG

This is a program of spiritual development, which makes the bedrock for the rehabilitation and upbringing process in all programs and projects of Otchiy Dim.

By fulfilling physical need in life, clothing, nutrition, and even education, it cannot heal the wounds inside the children’s hearts. Only God’s love has the ability to stop the boomerangs of curse, mistreat, betrayal, abuse that were launched in those children’s lives, and bring healing instead, to the body, mind and soul, by launching new boomerangs of love, faith and hope.

“GOOD DEEDS CHEST”

The project is designed to launch a wave of good deeds among people. The founders of GD Chest became the graduates of Otchiy Dim. In order to do a good deed, it is not necessary to be incredibly wealthy. Ultimately, it is more than enough to take a second look at your own belongings that have not been used in a long time. Items can be in good condition and it is a shame to get rid of something that we do not find useful anymore. At the same time, certain goods may become a lifesaver for someone. The Chest is a place where you can bring something and purchase things at a low price; thereby, convert the items into good deeds, such as helping the fatherless or children with cancer, etc. Good deeds can also be our gifts and talents, which we can use in our spare time to help the less fortunate, large families or families at risk.

EDUCATION PROJECT

20 years of working experience with children, who were found in difficult circumstances and removed from families due to an existing life threat, states about a systematic problem, which is pedagogical inconsideration that causes a low educational level for most of those children.

After being placed in rehabilitation centers, children start attending local public schools; however, they find it very challenging to level up with their peers. Given circumstances have a number of negative consequences, such as low self-esteem, loss of interest and motivation in school, various conflict situations with classmates and teachers, unwillingness to attend school, breakouts from the center, etc.

To address the issue, we have organized a provision of educational services on campus in order to compensate pedagogical disregard and equalize the educational level according to age.
